Privacy statement
Understand what you share, how it is used, and how to contact us about your information.
Effective September 9, 20261. Where this statement applies
This statement covers purposedrivenmedia.group, PDM’s business visibility screening, and PDM’s church, ministry and nonprofit visibility screening. These services are operated by Purpose Driven Media Group LLC. Client organizations’ websites, including GAP House, have their own responsibilities and policies.
2. Information we receive
- Screening details: organization name, type or industry, location or service area, public links, optional aliases, business size, activity information you supply, and any logo-display permission.
- Research and reports: information retrieved from public websites, profiles, search results and local sources; scores, recommendations, dates, report history, and report-access status.
- Account details: your email address and, when supplied by ChatGPT sign-in, your name. PDM does not receive your ChatGPT password or conversation history through sign-in.
- Contact and meeting details: profile contact name, optional phone number, organization, requested meeting time and notes, and correspondence you send us.
- Service records: follow-up notes, communication dates, service interests, and related business records used to manage the relationship.
- Payment records: customer contact information, the purchased service, amount, payment status and receipt or transaction references available to PDM through Square, used to confirm payments and coordinate service delivery. Do not send card details through PDM forms or email.
Hosting and sign-in providers also process technical requests and may maintain operational or security logs, such as IP addresses, browser information and request times.
3. How information is used
We use this information to run the requested screening, save and retrieve reports, manage access, prepare recommendations, respond to questions, arrange meetings, and follow up about PDM services. PDM’s director can review saved screening and service records in the administrative dashboard.
Public research sends relevant organization names, links and location queries to search or data services. Do not submit passwords, payment-card details, private file links, resident or patient records, donor lists, or other sensitive personal information. The screening is for an organization’s public presence.
A screening submission does not subscribe you to a newsletter. To ask us to stop sales follow-ups, reply to a message or contact us using the details below.
4. Providers and connected services
The services use ChatGPT/OpenAI for hosting and sign-in, with Cloudflare infrastructure for site delivery and stored application records. Public research can query services such as Bing, DuckDuckGo, Google News, public social pages, OpenStreetMap services and the U.S. Census Bureau, depending on the screening and available sources. Those services process requests under their own policies.
Where PDM’s director connects a work Gmail account, the CRM can read sender, recipient, subject, date and thread metadata from messages in the selected PDM CRM label. It uses this to organize contacts and prepare follow-up drafts. This is a director-controlled connection; signing in for a screening does not connect your Gmail inbox. The current CRM synchronization does not import message bodies or attachments.
We may disclose records when required by law or when reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse or security incidents. Square processes information entered in its hosted checkout under its own privacy policy (opens in a new tab). Following a payment link takes you to Square; the PDM website does not receive your full card details. External websites and communication providers have their own privacy practices.
5. Who can see a report
Business reports are shareable by link. Anyone who receives or obtains a business report link can view the organization details and findings on that report. Only submit information suitable for that audience, and share links deliberately.
Retrieving saved church, ministry and nonprofit screenings normally requires the submitting account or PDM’s administrator. An unsigned screening can be saved for PDM follow-up and later associated with a signed-in profile from that browser. Reports deliberately displayed as public examples are public. Downloaded, printed or copied reports can also be shared by the person holding the copy.
No internet service can promise absolute security. Please contact us if you believe a report or account is being accessed improperly.
6. Cookies, browser storage and retention
Hosting and sign-in services may use cookies for authentication and essential service functions. The ministry screening uses browser storage to remember recent unclaimed report identifiers; administrative meeting-preparation checklists also use browser storage. Clearing site data can remove that convenience and will not delete server records.
PDM does not currently embed advertising pixels in these screening interfaces. If additional tracking is introduced, its use and any applicable choices must be reflected in this statement.
Saved screening, profile and meeting records do not currently have automatic expiry. They remain in application storage until removed. You can request review, correction or deletion as described below. Provider logs, backups, correspondence and records needed for legal or accounting purposes may have different retention periods; removal from the live application may not remove every retained copy immediately.
7. Access, correction and deletion requests
Email sales@purposedrivenmedia.group with “Privacy request,” your account email, organization name, and the relevant report identifier if you have it. Tell us what you would like to access, correct or delete. Do not send identity documents or sensitive records in your initial request.
We may need to verify your identity or authority before acting. Requests are reviewed according to applicable law, including any permitted retention obligations. An account owner can also update available profile fields after signing in. Removing a PDM record does not remove the underlying public information from another website.
8. Children and updates
PDM’s screening services are intended for adult representatives researching organizations, not for children to submit personal information. Contact us if a child’s information has been submitted. We will post changes to this statement here with an updated effective date.
